Ivanjo Aldea is a licensed Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and a partner at Arkansas Psychiatric Clinic (APC). He has a special interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders and also provides care to clients with all other mental and behavioral conditions.

Dr. Aldea graduated from Tufts University in 1999 with a BA in Clinical Psychology and a minor in Military Science from M.I.T. Prior to entering medical school, he served as a Field Artillery officer in the US Army, which included a six month tour in Iraq. He completed his residency in Adult Psychiatry at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2012 and finished his fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Brown University in 2014.

Dr. Aldea joined the Arkansas Psychiatric Clinic following completion of training in June 2014. Dr. Aldea specializes in children, adolescents and young adults (ages 5 through 25 years) with a multi-dimensional approach to mental health. This includes a comprehensive psychiatric and medical evaluation, with review of past history and discussion of diagnosis, treatment goals with Genetic testing and medication management when necessary. He believes that a collaborative approach to mental health is essential, thus parents, families and other providers share in the decision making process and follow up.

Dr. Aldea spends his professional time at APC as well as Arkansas Families First in North Little Rock and Community Life Services, a long-term care facility that is part of AEDD (Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally Delayed). For more information, visit them with the links below.

He is a Star Wars and Marvel fan with memorabilia of both visible all around his office.
