Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

TMS for Depression, or Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, is an FDA-approved, breakthrough treatment for patients with depression. At APC, we deliver this non-invasive neuromodulation therapy using the Apollo TMS chair—our primary device known for its precision and patient comfort. Since 2016, we have completed more than 15,000 TMS sessions, making us one of the most experienced providers in Little Rock.

Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)

Performed under general anesthesia at our partner facility, The BridgeWay Hospital, ECT delivers a brief and precisely controlled electrical pulse that can quickly ease severe depression, bipolar disorder, or psychosis. Most patients wake up within minutes and head home the same day, often noticing meaningful relief after only a handful of sessions. Your APC psychiatrist oversees every step, coordinating medical clearance, adjusting medications, and tracking progress, to ensure you achieve the safest, most effective outcome possible.

Ketamine

At APC, we offer ketamine treatment as part of a comprehensive plan for individuals struggling with depression and other mood disorders that have not responded to traditional therapies. Ketamine works differently than standard antidepressants by targeting glutamate pathways in the brain, which may help restore connections and provide rapid relief of symptoms.
