Founded in 1969, the Arkansas Psychiatric Clinic is the premier psychiatric private practice in central Arkansas. We maintain a highly qualified staff of board certified psychiatrists, nurses, licensed clinical social workers and psychologists that together represent years of clinical experience. All of our providers have different areas of sub specialization which allows us to provide each patient with best possible treatment for his or her condition.
Areas of expertise include mood disorders, PTSD, women’s issues, child and adolescent problems, chemical dependency and forensics. As such, treatment options include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, consultation/ liaison and different forms of individual and marital therapy. Our physicians are also on the staffs of nearby psychiatric hospitals so that in severe cases psychiatric hospitalization may be an option.
We are a private psychiatric clinic located in West Little Rock amidst a grove of trees and other professional buildings far removed from the closest thoroughfare in a setting that is warm and inviting rather than the traditional stark, medical clinic appeal.
First and foremost, we value confidentiality. Therefore, signage outside the building is small and for the most part hidden.
Parking is such that one cannot be clearly identified as a psychiatric patient.
Our staff is casual and friendly, accommodating and welcoming.
Our physicians, therapists, nurses and office staff pride themselves in knowing most of our patients by name. Patients are often greeted by their first name.
It is this level of comfort and familiarity that makes patients feel most welcome here.

Financial Agreement Policy
All co-payments and deductibles are payable at the time of service. No exceptions.
Please understand that financial responsibility for your bill rests with the individual and not an insurance company or government agency. We will do our best to obtain the correct information, but you are ultimately responsible for all charges not covered by insurance.
You must call your insurance company to obtain authorization for your initial visit. We will not be able to see you without that information. We will file your claims for you.
In your insurance changes, it is your responsibility to notify our office before the next visit so we can verity eligibility and benefits prior to being seen by our providers. Remember to bring the new insurance card with you so we can make a copy for our records.
Appointments can be scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
